Facing alcoholism and peer pressure

Karl is attempting to balance school responsibilities, his spot on the tennis team, a relationship with his girlfriend--and a growing dependence on alcohol. His own father is an alcoholic, and now Karl is threatening to fall into the same devastating circumstances. Karl's drinking is imperiling his relationships with his girlfriend Amy and other friends--and it may cost him his position on the tennis squad, and even his life. Your students will be encouraged to honestly wrestle with the issue of alcohol abuse and peer pressure by this dramatic video, which features an epilogue with recording artist Bryan Duncan. Your students will squarely face the question: How much is too much?

Teachers tell us:
"A good eye opening dramatic story that illustrates the effects of alcohol and giving in to peer pressure." - Consumer & Family Studies Teacher, Colorado
"It revealed how peer pressure can persuade someone to do something they really don't want to do." - Health Instructor, Pennsylvania
"I really like how they show role model of friendship." - DH Instructor, Ohio

Student reactions:
"All of the students like this video."
