Featuring Haman Cross

Contending with popular culture's sexual saturation

As a young man, Haman Cross fell victim to society's single-minded focus on sex. Today, he presents a realistic and responsible plan for sexual behavior to a generation of youth who are bombarded with sexual messages by their peers and the media. Your students will respond to Haman's honest approach to this issue, and his concern over the consequences of poor decisions about sexual behavior and an out-of-balance preoccupation with sex. This video includes interviews with teens who share their feelings about the meaning of sex and their own struggles with overexposure to sex.

Teachers tell us:
"Thought it was good and made them think about how harmful too much curiosity can be and how important their choice of friends are." - Health/School Nurse, Texas
"Were glad to have a distinction drawn between sex and love." - Psychology Teacher, Michigan
"Down to earth film." - Health Instructor, Arkansas

Student reactions:
"Most agreed this was 'their language'."
