Dealing with a broken world

So many lives are shattered by emotional and physical abuse, leaving victims traumatized and often feeling overwhelmed. But there is hope. This video is built around interviews with men and women who grew up in homes marred by alcoholism and abuse. As their stories unfold, your students will watch them struggle to find healing and wholeness. Even in a broken world, people can overcome the pain of their past and lead positive, productive lives. Your students will be encouraged by the courageous example of others who are picking up the pieces of their lives.

Teachers tell us:
"The video was the catalyst for some very productive conversations on "forgiving"Ó and on "blaming." - ACCESS Teacher, Alabama

Student reactions:
"Very positive, they see relationship between spiritual health and physical, mental and social health."
