Based
on the best-selling memoir of a family that hid Jewish families
during the Holocaust, this dramatic video fills the screen with
one of the most extraordinary stories of the horror of World War
II. The Hiding Place traces the lives of Corrie ten Boom, her father
and sister Betsie. It begins prior to the outbreak of the war, and
continues through the Dutch family's heroic work in the "Underground,"
when they sheltered countless Jewish families from Adolph Hitler's
dreaded SS troops. The ten Booms are arrested when the hiding place
is discovered, and imprisoned in one of Nazi Germany's most notorious
concentration camps. There, they face the greatest test of their
faith and their commitment to love mankind--even their enemies.
Your students will be moved by this powerful story.
