Richard M. DeVosThe compassionate accumulation and distribution of wealth is at the heart of this four part video series, and who better to host such a series than one of America's billionaires and philanthropists. Rich DeVos, a gifted inspirational speaker, owner of the Orlando Magic basketball team, co-founder of direct marketing giant Amway, is an outspoken advocate of capitalism with a heart. This series is organized around Rich's 16 statements of belief--or credos--concerning capitalism. Each of these credos can be used as separate 8 to 10 minute introduction to a subject, or as a single thirty minute unit. The videos offer your students the accumulated experience Rich has acquired over a lifetime of leadership in business, civic and philanthropic organizations. Compassionate Capitalism will introduce your students to people of accomplishment who reflect the best of the adventure with free-market capitalism. The next generation of America's leaders will be encouraged to appreciate both free enterprise and compassionate action rooted in a strong ethical foundation.
