Jason's Choice

Jason's Choice

Jason has a date to go to a concert with his girlfriend, Cheryl. But Jason's widowed mother has scheduled a family camping trip. Jason has to make a decision between a special concert with his girlfriend, or time with his family. It's a difficult dilemma, and your students will identify with this dramatic story as Jason makes his choice. An epilogue featuring recording artist Michael Tait of DC Talk will help your students launch into a meaningful discussion of this story.

Teachers tell us:
"The film points out the importance of family, but allows room for personal choice and responsibility in relation to family matters. I think our kids got a lot out of it." - Counselor, Nebraska
"I liked the reality to the video. It gave young people a chance to talk about real life decisions." - Teacher, Alabama

Student reactions:
"Students enjoyed the film. Several students shared that they are beginning to experience similar decision making problems that Jason experienced."
"Students were deeply engrossed to see what final decision Jason would make. They offered many opinions as the story unfolded. Their emotions fluctuated depending on who Jason was interchanging with at the time."
